Hard week?

OK like most composers I too face rejection. Oddly my last two rejections were of note in that they were not noted. That is in both cases they didn't bother to inform any of the losers that they were rejected.  Rather they only displayed the winners in a web post.  Kind of like middle school music theater selection.  Worse, one institution mentioned that the winners were posted on their home site only as an aside in a blog post on NMB on another subject.  I might have waited for weeks to find out.   The purpose of a rejection letter is not just acknowledgement but also a reminder that things can change and this years rejected might be on next years play list.


I have to say how unprofessional.
